FROM LOYOLA CYBER CENTER…. Loyola School, which heralded many an innovation in the Kerala State educational scenario, is at the threshold of another giant leap. The school has already started in full swing Computer Aided Teaching and Learning. The basic idea is to prepare our boys for the complex, technocratic future. The Loyola School Management and the PTA intend to make it a combined effort of parents, teachers and students. It is now left to the Loyola students to make the maximum of these facilities and thus get ready to face the challenging cyber world.

The computer lab consisting of an Internet & Programming lab, a general purpose lab and a multi-media
class room that help both the teachers and students
to display the projects prepared by them. To enable
our networking accessibility we have introduced
an I.B.M. server, 50 machines with networking, and
an L.C.D projector.

IT Club
Another innovative venture in the field of IT @
Loyola is the starting of the IT club, for the students
from Std VI to XII. Mr. S Gopakumar head of NSSD,
ISRO,inaugurated the club. The IT club members are
privileged to make use of the computer Lab, Multimedia
projector, the extensive CD- ROM collection, and
the Internet Browsing center with concession. The
club conducts IT based quizzes and software programming
competitions. IT related books/periodicals/CDs/cassettes
from the IT Library are made available to its members.
The IT newsletter brings out the latest news in
the IT field as well as the skills of our own students
in computers
